On the afternoon of July 4th,2015,the second-semester-conclusion meeting in the academic year of 2014-2015 was held in the school hall in Anqing Foreign Language School.All the faculty members attended the meeting.
President Madam Huang Wenli made a keynote speech in regard to the school work of this term.Anqing Foreign Language School lived up to high expectations,achieving huge success in both Chinese Gaokao and Senior High School Entrance Examination.Glorious news kept pouring in so as to reach new heights.
ShengJia,the No.1 Scorer in Liberal Arts major of our school,studied 6 successive years in Anqing Foreign Language School since junior high,all the way up to senior high.Back then to her Senior High School Entrance Examination,ShengJia ranked only two thousandth among the municipal ranking system.However,under the guidance and meticulous care of all her teachers,she made her way to 20th in Liberal Arts in Anqing City,with a total score of 650,surpassing scores of 4 provincial model high schools as well as grades of No.1 scorers in another two counties.This year’s achievements in Chinese Gaokao proved another glory with 11 students admitted in key universities,71 in universities and 139 in colleges.We would like to point out in particular that our International Class has the highest university admission rate with as high as 74.56%,obtaining the first place in terms of excellence rates in addition to university acceptance rates among municipal level model high schools.
Principal Madam Huang Wenli reiterates that these accomplishments made us all very proud,since initially students graduated from junior high were not that prominent.Nevertheless,we still created miracles one after another through all teachers’ persistent efforts.Furthermore,Anqing Foreign Language School should have more faith in our senior high teaching department.
Other than that,our school rewrote the gorgeous history in Senior High School Entrance Examination.Among the top 5 scorers,we account for 3 places.More noticeably,we have 4 seats among the top 10.We owe this victory to all junior high teachers’ determination to forge ahead.
All in all,President Madam Huang Wenli encouraged us to learn more,exercise more and further improve ourselves so that we can reach our personal best to meet up with the upcoming new semester and new challenges with a brand-new outlook!
